Staff from across Uttoxeter Learning Trust have marked the start of 2023 by holding an annual conference.
Around 250 staff from the Trust’s nine schools attended Light Up Learning, which brought colleagues together for a series of professional development workshops.
Topics included the latest best practice and innovation in teaching and learning, mental health and wellbeing, and supporting vulnerable pupils.
Sarah Clark, Chief Executive Officer, Uttoxeter Learning Trust, said: “Our Light Up Learning conference is a fantastic opportunity to bring staff together from our nine schools to share best practice. It made for a really great start to 2023.”
During the event, there were performances from The Richard Clarke First School and Windsor Park C.E Middle School pupils and presentations from Thomas Alleyne’s High School students.
Julie Rudge, Headteacher, Thomas Alleyne’s High School, added: “It’s been fantastic to have so many delegates from across all of our nine schools at the conference and to be supported by our students.”
Anne Tapp, Headteacher, Picknalls First School, commented: “It’s been a lovely way to come back after the Christmas holidays and get everyone together from across the Trust.”
Light Up Learning was held at Uttoxeter Racecourse on January 4th, 2023.
