Trevor Sutcliffe – Interim Chief Executive Officer

Trevor Sutcliffe has been appointed as Interim Chief Executive Officer for Uttoxeter Learning Trust and started in post on 15 May 2023.

Trevor is an education consultant and a former Uttoxeter Learning Trust trustee who knows the Trust’s schools and headteachers well.

Trevor has 23 years’ experience in education including being an assistant headteacher and, more recently, providing services to schools, multi-academy trusts and local authorities.

He has carried out the Interim Chief Executive Officer role in two multi-academy trusts previously, including Uttoxeter Learning Trust.

Trevor has previously worked in other education related roles for local authorities including Staffordshire County Council.

Trevor will support the longer term leadership transition in terms of the appointment of a new permanent Chief Executive Officer from 1 September 2023. 

Introduction to Central Team

Uttoxeter Learning Trust is legally responsible for standards and for operational aspects in each of our academies. Each school continues to have its own local governing body, which works in partnership with the Trust Board.  Our central team supports our schools both with back-office services such as Finance, IT and Health and Safety, and also with school improvement and standards.
