We have received confirmation that members of the NEU will be taking part in a series of strikes that will affect schools in the Trust on the following dates:
1 February: All schools in England and Wales
1 March: East Midlands, West Midlands, and the NEU’s eastern region
15 and 16 March: Two-day strike of all schools in England and Wales
Due to the nature of industrial action, it is not possible to confirm the exact number of staff taking part and the classes that will be affected ahead of the strike days, but all of our schools are working to be open to as many pupils as possible. Headteachers will share with parents and carers the arrangements for their site in advance.
The Government is continuing to work with the trade unions to seek a resolution on this pay award dispute as soon as possible.
