All Uttoxeter Learning Trust (ULT) schools will be fully open to pupils on 1 February 2023.
Members of the National Education Union (NEU) are due to take part in a series of strikes that will affect schools on the following dates:
1 February: All schools in England and Wales
1 March: East Midlands, West Midlands, and the NEU’s eastern region
15 and 16 March: Two-day strike of all schools in England and Wales
The strikes are happening because of a national pay award dispute between the NEU and the government.
Due to the nature of industrial action, it is not possible to confirm the exact number of staff taking part and the classes that will be affected ahead of the strike day.
However, headteachers at all ULT schools have confirmed that they will be able to fully open to all pupils on the first strike day – 1 February 2023.
Parents and carers have been informed. Headteachers at each school will update parents and carers on arrangements for future strike days.
If you have any questions, please contact the senior leadership team at your school.
