Pat Hunt

Pat is the Vice Chair of our Education Committee and has oversight of safeguarding and special educational needs (SEND) for the Trust. She is also the Link Trustee to The Richard Clarke First school.

She has extensive experience in education, with over 30 years’ experience working in schools across all ages – from 4 to 18 years. She has senior leadership experience in secondary schools and was a primary headteacher.

Pat also worked for a local authority where she gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in governance in multi academy trusts (MATs). She has been a Chief Executive Officer of a small local MAT and is a National Leader of Governance.

She currently runs a school improvement consultancy with a particular specialism in special educational needs and primary education.

Pat has now brought all her experience and knowledge to the Trust and is excited to be on the part of its on-going journey. She believes the children served by the Trust should have the best opportunities to succeed in school and their next stages of life-long learning. To achieve this she is committed to ensuring staff wellbeing is at the heart of this.

She would like to see the Trust be forward and outward thinking and certainly the Trust of choice for schools locally and further afield.
